- Background
- The ATP rulebook governs every aspect of the men’s professional tour. For years it lived as a single PDF running to hundreds of pages, relied on by players, officials and staff worldwide.
- Challenge
- The rulebook was a long, linear PDF that was hard to search and almost impossible to use on a phone. Players, officials and staff needed the right rule quickly, often courtside, under time pressure or without a reliable connection. It also had to be accessible to everyone who relies on it, regardless of sight, device or setting.
- Solution
- I led the product design end to end, from information architecture and user flows through to UI and prototyping. I restructured a dense, linear document into a clear, navigable app with fast search and smart filtering, so players, officials and staff can find the right rule in seconds. I designed it to work fully offline for use on court and on the move, and built in inclusive features from the start, including adjustable text sizing, high-contrast modes and full voiceover support.
